The Garden as Science Fiction
We have found ourselves longing to return to nature and sooner or later, we believe we will. But what will nature look like in the future? What we think is "natural" and what our destination is what matters here and now. Our lives will continue and go on, but many of us are in a process of thinking about "nature" and what we feel is actually "natural." At this moment, we do not know but we are comforted in knowing two things- that nature is becoming increasingly precious and valued higher. Secondly, we know that its a long way before we arrive at any fantasized vision of nature. While we cannot say that the pieces in the 'Garden' collection are the most ideal process, we think they are the next step along the way to enjoying this collection. The works in our collection are our effort to interpreting and understanding how we see nature.
